After a short time in Colorado, Paul and his wife Lori returned to Long Beach, California where they both grew up. The two of them collaborated musically and formed a band called Launch Pad. Shortly after Lori's unexpected passing in February 2014, Paul co-founded Third World Sun with Scott Johnson (Scotty Zero), adding drummer, Mike Driml (Biff Wellington) only a week later. Charles McNeil (Mr. Charles) joined the band as a second guitarist in early 2016. Third World Sun plays popular venues in downtown Long Beach and Paul continues to write and publish. Paul and Lori had one daughter, Melody, who is now in middle school and provides many of Third World Sun's band photos.
